The strength of the festival is due, in large part, to the Cultural Groups who take such pride in representing their cultural heritage. Through parade participation, stage performances, arts and craft booths and participation in the International Café our neighbors welcome the entire community to experience their culture up-close.
Learn how you can participate in the parade, HERE!
Sell your arts and crafts -- and have an opportunity to win prizes! Take part in our community's the largest celebration of arts and culture during the Arts Council's International Folk Festival. There will be a juried contest with cash awards totaling $1,000 for best original handmade art or craft items being sold. Exhibitors are encouraged to demonstrate their art or craft. Click HERE for the artisan and crafters application and guidelines. Deadline: August 30, 2019
Your contribution will help improve people’s lives in extraordinary ways, such as meaningful educational programs in our schools as well as ensuring free access to vital programs that preserve and enhance the cultural fabric of our community.
The International Folk Festival offers a number of select sponsorship opportunities and benefits. The Arts Council will work with you to develop a branded suite of promotional assets that can be tracked and shared across media platforms.
You’re in good company!

From set-up to break down, behind the scenes and on stage, volunteers are needed throughout the festival planning and the event itself. Volunteer needs include welcoming visitors, selling drinks, assisting artists and vendors to keep everything moving safely and efficiently. Volunteer for just a few hours or help all day.
Everyone age 16 years and older is welcome (and needed!) to participate in this most exciting event! (Please note: if you are under 16 years old you may still participate, but you will need to be accompanied by an adult.)
