Join us in Downtown Fayetteville and Festival Park for the 41st International Folk Festival September 28-29, 2019

On Saturday at 10:30 am, the Parade of Nations commences followed by seven cultural performance areas, arts and craft vendors, Rockplosion! The Ultimate Tribute Band and the International Café. The festival continues in its entirety on Sunday, September 29th with Praise in the Park concert beginning at 1 pm with praise and worship dance groups and ground breaking Fayetteville native choirs with a culminating headlining performance by powerhouse vocalist Yael Hilton at 7 pm

The Art Council’s International Folk Festival celebrates the beauty of cultural unity and diversity in the community. Now approaching its 41st year, IFF has become a staple in the community, the longest standing family festival in the region, attracting more than 100,000 visitors with more than 30 cultures sharing music, dance, food and crafts!

NEW!! Rocksplosion! The Ultimate Tribute Show takes the concept of tribute shows to a new level with top tribute performances of today's rock stars from the 60's through present days. Praise in the Park concert celebrating the deep rooted cultural traditions of the Southern faith community. Join the fun as a cultural participant, vendor, sponsor or volunteer!

The strength of the festival is due, in large part, to the Cultural Groups who take such pride in representing their cultural heritage. Through parade participation, stage performances, arts and craft booths and participation in the International Café our neighbors welcome the entire community to experience their culture up-close.

VENDORS
Arts and Craft

Sell your arts and crafts -- and have an opportunity to win prizes! Take part in our community's the largest celebration of arts and culture during the Arts Council's International Folk Festival. There will be a juried contest with cash awards totaling $1,000 for best original handmade art or craft items being sold. Exhibitors are encouraged to demonstrate their art or craft. Volunteer
Join the Fun

From set-up to break down, behind the scenes and on stage, volunteers are needed throughout the festival planning and the event itself. Volunteer needs include welcoming visitors, selling drinks, assisting artists and vendors to keep everything moving safely and efficiently. Volunteer for just a few hours or help all day.

Everyone age 16 years and older is welcome (and needed!) to participate in this most exciting event! (Please note: if you are under 16 years old you may still participate, but you will need to be accompanied by an adult.)
